Our Instructors
The quality of instruction in our swim lessons is due to the high performance of our Swim Instructors. All of our instructors are qualified swimming teachers and each have a Working with Children Police Clearance. You can find out more about our WestSwim team on our Meet the Team page.

Swim Lessons
A unique feature of the WestSwim program is that we offer 45-minute classes 7 days a week for children aged 3 years and above. For children under three, we offer a 30-minute water babies class on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Swim Level Certification
Students are enrolled in classes based on their swimming ability and are constantly assessed and awarded certificates as they pass through the swim school program.
If you are enrolling for the first time, please refer to the table below to determine the appropriate level for your child. If you are unsure, please contact a member of the swim team on T: 08 8276 0241.

2023 Swimming Lesson Fees*
Children aged 3 years and above (45 minute lessons): $25.00 per lesson
Children aged under 3 years (30 minute lessons): $23.00 per lesson
*To ensure that children get the best possible outcome from their lessons, we encourage parents to enrol for a whole term as a minimum. Swim School terms run as per the government school term dates.
Facilities
Our modern facilities, consisting of two heated indoor pools, a 10-lane 25m lap pool (28 degrees) and a 15m learner’s pool (32 degrees) enable us to provide a swim programme that develops water awareness, confidence, mobility, stroke technique, and fitness for all ages.
At WestSwim, the comfort and safety of our patrons is of the highest priority. Both our pools feature a world-class UV filtration system, a pool sanitation process that results in lower chlorine, lower chloramines, and a level of safety not provided by chemicals. High-volume traffic in public pools can easily overwhelm the typical sanitation system. Using our UV filtration system, the water is filtered and adequately treated before it is then passed through a UV chamber and returned to the pool. This UV filtration step greatly improves water quality and helps in inactivating pathogens and minimizing harmful disinfection byproducts.
